I cannot even begin to tell you all the good things about Pat’s. I had a total engine failure and my Subie was my only mode of transportation. Pat made this job one… he replaced my head gasket and all the other parts I needed to get my car back on the road quickly, so I wouldn’t have to bum rides from friends for too long. Pat, you don’t know how much I appreciate your mechanical skills and efforts to help your customers. Thank you so much!
SAABs aren’t the cheapest cars to own and he’s sympathetic to that. The only time he didn’t fix my SAAB on the first go was when he was trying to save me money by trouble-shooting the problem rather than charging to replace all of the parts that COULD be the problem (and he informed me that’s what he was doing). Very knowledgable about SAABs and a stand-up guy.
I cannot say enough good things about Pat’s! Today my daughter was stuck at high school, her Saab was repaired and ready to go, but she had no way to get to it or to get to work. I called Pat’s and asked if they could pick her up so she could get her car. I know this is not a common request and not practical in many places, but here in Bend, OR things are done differently. Pat’s said sure and drove to the high school to pick her up so she could get her Saab back and make it to work. They are a life saver and a terrific mechanic to boot – Thank you Pat’s! God bless.
Pat has an incredible reputation in town as an honest, thorough and good mechanic. I begged him to work on my car, even though it’s not a Saab or Subaru, because he is so good. He explained everything fully before he did any repairs, and I was surprised at how reasonable his prices are.
Pat was fixing the broken ignition on my Saab, and also saved me around 300$ by checking the other company that did the work on it the first time to see if it was under warranty. Thanks!

Pat is a phenomenal mechanic. I have sent all of my friends to him. Everyone in this town owns a Subabru and knows of Pat. He is fast and honest. I had a broken seatbelt clip, so he went out to
his car and salvaged his to me. He said “At least this way you won’t have to wait and your kids will be safe. It might be awhile before we get the part and I don’t need it as bad as you do.” Very good guy!
